Do I need a member sponsor?
Pleasant Valley Country Club is a private country club; however we have rooms available for rental to non-members.
 
Do I need a caterer?
No food is allowed to be brought in from an outside caterer, with the exception of special event cakes. All food and beverage must be procured through Pleasant Valley Country Club.
 
Is there a room rental charge?
Yes, the room charges vary according to the size of the room chosen.
 
What does the room rental rate include?
The room rental rate includes the usage of each room, our standard tables, our banquet chairs, our standard linens, and all standard silverware and glassware that is needed for your event.
 

What is a food and beverage minimum?
The minimums are the amount that must be spent in food and beverage prior to taxes and service charges. The minimums are listed in the banquet packet; the minimums vary depending on the room chosen as well as the day of the week and month.

Can we book our reception on a night other than Saturday?
Yes. The Ballroom is available for rental any day the Club is open. There are also pricing incentives for booking on other nights other than Saturday.

Can the ceremony and reception be held at the facility?
Yes. You can choose to hold the wedding and reception both at our facilities.

How far in advance should the date be booked?
Because of the overwhelming popularity of our club, it is recommended to book as soon as possible to secure your date.

Do we need to pay a deposit and sign a contract to secure our date?
Because of the high demand of our club for an event space, a function date cannot be held. To ensure your date is secure, the deposit, signed banquet policy sheet, and signed contract must be received by the club. Deposit amounts vary and depend on the room(s) you choose for your event and if you are being sponsored by a member of Pleasant Valley Country Club.

Can you suggest entertainment, photographers or floral companies?
Yes. We have a large network of entertainers, photographers, florists, and bakeries that we can put you into contact with. We work closely with many of the local vendors on a daily basis.

Can we get married or take pictures on the golf course?
No. The only area available for rental is the banquet areas.

Does your venue have a dance floor area? Or do I need to purchase a dance floor?
Yes. Our Ballroom has wall-to-wall hardwood floors with electrical outlets all around the room which easily allows you to have your band and dance area anywhere in the room.

How much parking do you have?
We have immediate parking for 400, as well as auxiliary parking if needed.

Do you provide a space for the bridal party to change, eat, etc.?
Yes. As a thank you for choosing us we offer one room for the bridal party to use. We will also prepare a sampling of their food for the bride and groom to eat as soon as they arrive.

Can I customize my Food and Beverage Choices?
Yes. Custom menus and drinks are our specialty. You will be able to meet with the chef and drink consultant to make your big day memorable.
